Battle,Hit and Run, Hurting, Wicked, Fight , Enemies, mayhem, Revenge, Disgust, Jealousy, Pain, Violence…What does these words indicate !? For sure these words are not about fun nor indicates anything about enjoyment. Imagine, when all these happen in your living room, will you enjoy it !?
When i was a kid, i and my dad enjoyed all these words and today i and my kid enjoy these words. We aren’t a kurkure family, nor sadists. Hello, the whole world enjoys these words,you guessing !!
It happens all the time in our houses and all of us burst into laughter and enjoy every second of it and keep watching it again and again…if it is TOM and JERRY. For those who haven’t known about the Brand TOM and JERRY ,is there any ?! ( The Tom and Jerry series is very popular due to its comedic fights between a common pair of enemies, the common house cat and mouse. The plots of each short usually center on Tom’s numerous attempts to capture Jerry and the mayhem and destruction that ensues. Since Tom rarely attempts to eat Jerry and because the pair actually seem to get along in some cartoon shorts, it is unclear why Tom chases Jerry so much. Throughout the years, the term and title Tom and Jerry the animated theatrical became practically synonymous with never-ending rivalry, as much as the related “cat and mouse fight” metaphor has).
Seventy years ago,a cartoon was released featuring a cat named Jasper, an unnamed mouse, and two shoes with a voice.“Puss Gets the BOOT “debuted in theaters on the 10th of February 1940(Aquarius..hmmm) and changed the way cat and mouse cartoons were made. In spite of competitions the Brand Tom and Jerry is an unique and memorable Brand which brings laughter in any grim face.
Times change, Fashion change, Taste Change, Preferences change, Habits change, Technology change, People change….there is nothing permanent except change. But how is that in this changing scenario this timeless Brand Tom and Jerry is still consistent on its Brand Image and aura. I consider Brand Tom and Jerry as a seamless brand and whenever i see it now a days, i admire this brand for sailing through different seasons successfully, it is a wonderful case study for all those brand building companies.
