When we think of Swiss what comes to our mind instantly the delicious chocolates, the white fluffy snow, beautiful mountains,interesting weather, all in one Swiss knives, Swiss banks and the stylish watches and of course for its elegant hospitality and holidaying. .
Switzerland is reputed to be one of the most beautiful,trustworthy and the richest countries of the world. Interestingly i would have quizzed 100 people about the capital of swiss, some of them blinked, some said Zurich, some others Geneva but none of them said Bern as its capital.But all of them got the names of the Swiss brands right.
This is a small country when you take the entire size of the country but have left a lasting impact in the world with their Brands. It is a fantastic country and any one who goes to the country gets sandwiched between its beauty and climate.
This small country has created world class Brands : To name a few…Nescafe, UBS, Zurich, Rolex, Rado, Tissot,TAG Heur, Omega,Credit Susiee, Lindt, Nestle,Sunrise,Die Post, Coop, Davidoff, Swatch, Novartis NVS, Victorinox, and Longines , the list goes on.
Swiss Brand brings a vibe to the consumers. Made in Swiss always stands for high quality, precision, reliability , luxury and high priced.
My Simple question is…
How is that a small country like Swiss can create so many world class brands ?
The banking system in swiss provide enough funds to promote their top brands . I guess this is where our money is indirectly invested by the swiss account holders of India .
SWISS itself stands strong as a brand…!! Anybody and everybody wants to be there once in their lifetime, So are their brand which again makes everybody to think MUST HAVE thingy…. Small yet Beautiful place indeed.. Good one sir 🙂
Switzerland, which comes under the European Union, a small sparsely populated country which has been relegated to the top-most position in the world, in terms of BRAND IMAGE.
Populated by a very hard-working and innovative people, whose ranks have moved with the popularity of the products that they have managed to design to perfection and marketed worldwide. The name SWISS spells QUALITY, ACCURACY and PERFECTION in design.
Their commitment to quality has been well accepted and appreciated the world over. above all this, a government that has been extraordinarily liberal towards the inflow of foreign funds both authentic and un-authentic, have propelled the economy to dizzing heights. A very comfortable and fluid economy has initiated a tremendous growth in industry and exports, which are largely funded by low-interest and sometimes nil-interest loans from the government.
Major brands of world class watches have their origins in the insignificant villages in and around BERN, in cosmic proportions. Rolex, Fabreleube, Rado, Longines are some of the brands that rule the world market in watches even this day. The lip-smacking taste of Swiss chocolates are best described and true when we say “you just can’t stop with one”.
Even a cursery visit to any town or city in Switzerland, would give an impression of a very friendly country, that is marked by their genuine concern to please and an almost native agressiveness in their pursuit of perfection, which is a way-of-life for every swiss-born !
Even though SWISS is a small country their dedication and interest in creating the brands are large…….also they create each brands in a different style which makes each and everyone like a lot…..and mainly because of this it becomes a WORLD CLASS BRAND TOO…so here SWISS proves it…!!!
SWISS which is recognized as the richest country in the world by the means of per capita GDP has the highest wealth per adult,largest account balances,highest concentration of financial service provider,leading insurance exporter,highest concentration of skilled workers,liberal government who always focusses on making up laws benefiting the companies around swiss…just imagine a country which is very small n has so much of economic power n who had excelled in its country image, creating so many world class brands is a way easy task.:-)
Swiss is a small and beautiful country with no natural resources and of the first European nations to become industrialized.It is a snow clad country with agriculture contributing to only 10% of the economy. Their growth majorly depends on service and industrial production contributing to 50 % and 40 %
respectively to the economic growth.
Their strenuous effort and urge for growth has made it a birth place of no. world renowned brands.
The factors contributing to their growth is they played with their strengths , thought they lacked natural resources that was filled with their hospitality and industrial growth.
Their literacy rate is 100% and the imports are app. equal to their exports.Thus by playing with their strengths they have become a birth place of no. of world renowned brands.
It all started as ii world war started were Swiss was neutral and this encouraged Germans to invest their wealth there.Its the beginning ,then they developed their banking sector they say “we don’t fight” so ur money is safe.Like that more investments came to Swiss. So they have a group of people with a lot of money who visit the country to let the money here. so they need expensive hotels and restaurants, expensive sky resorts, expensive watches and pocket knife. Like this they started to develop their country,which lead to develop many brands.Then we will think why is that people still invest there as the WW got over even then why?yes swiss is having their tax exemption that’s Tax Haven were corporate taxes are very less,so many MNC came and invested there.So by these reasons they had a good economic base and this made to bring up new and more brands ,its not only that just building a brand but they maintain the brands with quality .This is how SMALL COUNTRY CAME UP WITH BIG BRANDS
