6Icon of the summer
Heat is on..Sounds of Summer ..this year it was the Election and IPL which took every one in India by storm and all of us had a tough time coz of the media clutter which was highlighting only these two issues. The refreshing idea during this summer was an advertisement which awestruck everyone…it captured the attention of all ages, a new icon named zoo zoo came into our lives..and all of us glued our eyes on to the television screen when these unshaped white characters walked, jumped, danced and even emote like human beings, with big frowns or big grins to do the trick. The execution is almost like emoticons but does everything a human being did. This character with huge egg sized head disproportionately thin bodies is created to promote the services of vodofone. All of those who happened to watch these Zoo Zoo characters for sure ended up convincing themselves as animated characters……but interestingly… for all those curious about a peek into the making of the Zoo Zoo commercials, check out the slide show. This is one of the best promotions India has witnessed in the recent times. A bunch of guys had rocked India with their unique IDEA.

gotta salute the guys at o & m really.. thanks for the post!!
Hi..The choice of topic you choose to blog is fabulous..but the zoo zoo advt are just okay to me..but my fear is now every agency will give birth to a new shape and name it.But i agree it works better than the normal mundane celebrity advertisements. But i like your words.
During the IPL season seriously everyday a new ad was generated by Vodafone the most popularly known all across the globe. Hats of to the creative minds worked on it. There are lots of advt. at present bringing new concepts ideas etc.. Bike ads doing stunts eg. Pulsar 220cc TATA TEA – Jaago Re, Limca, Pepsi, but they have their own versatility but they were no match to Zoo zoo series. They brought all the services they provide by this lot bunch if ads. Simply Superb
behind every successful (hi)story there is a heavy hardwork and involvement…
not just 4 money but they get fulfilled only by hearing appreciation like this….
fascinating…ha 🙂
