I Like It On

Do you want to know where women “like it”? Check out your Facebook news-feed.

The status updates across the third populated country of the world Facebook, women around the world are going spicy with revelatory messages saying, “I like it on the floor,” “I like it on the kitchen counter” or “I like it on the couch” and even “in the back seat of my car.”

In spite of the gamey updates, they’re not citing to places to pucker up, but rather places to leave their purses. The inception of the viral campaign is not known, but over the past few days potentially thousands of women across Facebook have posted the messages in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Though the purse reference itself doesn’t seem to bear any direct relationship to breast cancer and has left many men (and maybe women) scratching their heads, bunches of women continue to rally behind the viral message and the male keep imagining all those they want too, this tactic seems to be a tease and flirt format. Sexy update, isn’t it. But ,unsure if it raised the awareness for breast cancer, it is sure it made people to do some free wheeling.

The reason for all of these “I like it on” status updates is simple: October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and hundreds of thousands of women are using this meme as a mustering up cry to raise awareness for cancer research. The status updates naturally get their friends to ask them about their commentary, which is exactly the point of this meme.

This latest Internet meme is similar to the  bra color status update that swept Facebook in January. As part of that campaign, women on Facebook randomly posted the colour on their bras on their status updates to raise awareness for breast cancer research.

What is your take on the campaign ?!

Even I was completely oblivious to what the status meant….It would have been better if they had made an awareness on the actual purpose……which I wouldn’t have been aware of ,if I hadn’t seen this link…..Thank you ,sir.
